Platinum Dental Group was founded with a simple yet ambitious vision — to redefine the dental experience in Sabah by combining clinical excellence, advanced technology, and genuinely patient-centred care.

The journey began in 2018 when Dr Jet Yong and entrepreneur Elton Sim joined forces to create a dental group that would not only provide high-quality treatment, but also raise the standard of private dentistry across the region. Their shared belief was that every patient deserves access to modern, ethical, and comprehensive dental care delivered in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

As the organisation expanded, Dr Reagan Chong and Dr Simon Chin became integral members of the leadership team and later Co-Founders of Platinum Dental Group. Together, the four leaders have played a pivotal role in shaping the culture, clinical standards, and strategic direction of the group. Their combined expertise in healthcare, business management, and patient care continues to drive the organisation forward today.

What started as a modest vision has since grown into one of Sabah's leading dental healthcare groups, with four clinics serving communities throughout Kota Kinabalu and a team of 14 dedicated dentists, supported by visiting specialists in oral surgery and paediatric dentistry.
