Most patients are surprised by how comfortable it is. We use local anaesthesia throughout, so you feel pressure but no pain. Post-procedure discomfort is typically mild and managed with standard pain relief for 2–3 days. Most patients return to work the next day.

From first consultation to final crown, the full process typically takes 3–6 months. This allows time for the implant to fuse with your jawbone (osseointegration). In some cases, same-day temporary crowns can be placed. We'll give you a precise timeline at your consultation.

With proper care, implants last 20–30 years — often a lifetime. They're designed to be a permanent solution, unlike dentures or bridges which typically need replacing every 5–10 years. The crown on top may need replacing after 15–20 years due to normal wear.

Most adults with good general health are suitable candidates. Key factors include sufficient jawbone density and healthy gums. Even if you've been missing teeth for years, bone grafting can often restore suitability. The only way to know for sure is a free consultation with our 3D scan assessment.

Some medical cards and corporate dental plans cover a portion of implant costs, especially when the tooth loss is due to injury or medical necessity. We'll help you check your coverage and provide the necessary documentation. We also offer 0% interest instalment plans.

Implants are fixed permanently into your jawbone — you cannot remove them. They function, feel, and look like natural teeth. Dentures are removable and can shift when eating or speaking. Implants also prevent jawbone loss, which dentures do not.
